About the Boston Strikers
The Boston Strikers Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1987 to give LGBT soccer players the opportunity to connect around soccer. To this day, the club strives to offer players a space to make friendships through a sport that we all love.
The club runs leagues for all skill levels throughout the year. In the spring and summer, our popular weekly league takes place on Wednesdays in Boston's South End. In the winter we host a fast-paced league that plays indoor soccer. We organize competitive teams that play in external Boston leagues. Throughout the year we field teams that travel to tournaments in the US and around the world. And every year in October we host the Provincetown Soccer Classic -- a fun-filled soccer tournament complete with our signature Wigs and Heels Dance.
We recommend trying out one of our Sunday Soccer Practices or joining one of our social events as an introduction to the club to see if you like what we're about. Interested in receiving emails about upcoming leagues, events, and volunteer opportunities? Visit the JOIN US page to register with your email address and we'll keep you up to speed on all things Strikers. See you on the pitch!
